To empower individuals to focus on their development by building their character and confidence on and off the field.

Surf Foundation Objective

Giving players opportunities to compete and learn in a safe, challenging, and fun environment.

Surf Foundation Philosophy

Players must learn simple skills and execute them well before moving to more complex skills. Players will also learn on different timelines. Despite being a team orientated sport, it is Western Iowa Surf’s Foundation philosophy that the focus is on the individual player to take ownership of understanding every position and attacking/defending principles that will benefit team performance.

Surf Foundation Phase U7/U8 – 5v5

Fall & Spring Season:

• Training 2x a week
• Tournaments: x2 per year (club hosted)
• Technical training
• League Fees

Winter Season:

• Winter Training

What else is Included?

• Tournament entry fees
• Indoor & Outdoor training facility fees
• ISA membership fees including background checks
• Coaching & Director fees
• Club Administration
• Playmetrics software subscriptions
• Coach & player insurance

2025/2026 Annual Fee: $500
